Hi, im trying to measure current of a rc car with acs712 and arduino, but, i dont know how i should the sensor to the rc car. Any advice?
Cut one of the battery wires in half, and connect the cut ends to the screw terminals.
It doesn't matter if you cut the red wire or the black one.

I cut the red wire of the battery, and now, should i connect btoh wires to the screw terminals the red wire like black wire or is not necessary?
Current "flows" through the wires and it needs to flow through the sensor.
...If you only need to measure it once rather than "monitor" it continuously a multimeter is easier than wiring-up a microcontroller and programming it.
But you'll still need to "break" the circuit and insert the meter in series. For that reason, current measurements are less common than voltage and resistance measurements. If possible we usually calculate or estimate current, but sometimes it is best to measure it directly.
