drivers problem.

Hey guys.

I've been having a problem with getting my Arduino and laptop to communicate. I think it might be the drivers but I've tried everything that I can find on the internet to help but still it doesn't work.

I can't even upload my sketches on the board.
I really need help guys.

Can someone please help me. :frowning:

which unu (chip)?

What kind of laptop, what operating system?

What kind of Arduino do you have? Genuine or clone?

What troubleshooting have you alread tried? Fresh cable? Drivers installed?

Samsung RV510, windows 7.

Arduino Uno R3.

Removing the Arduino software from my laptop, installing drivers.
The cable works because every time I connect to make laptop the Arduino switches on.

It's still be worth trying a fresh cable - the power and data connections in there are separate so it could still be faulty even if the Arduino powers up.

Does the Arduino show up in Device Manager (whatever it's called - I'm not great at Windows)?
What lights come on on the Arduino?

The Arduino does show up on the device manager.

The "on" and "L" but once I connect the L just blinks nonstop.

If it shows up OK in Device Manager, I don't think drivers are the problem.

What errors do you see when you try to upload a sketch?
