Hi I have an arduino duemilanove with USB, but I cannot program it without drivers. I use with mac os x, but I must not install the drivers everywhere I would like to program the arduino. Is there a possibility to program it without needing to install the drivers? Maybe in form of a progarm that you can install on an USB- stick? Thanks for your help

I think the FDTI chip on arduino that turns serial communication into usb packets needs the driver. Most computers don't have that driver by default. If you had a serial arduino board, I think you can use it anywhere there is a serial port without installing software. Not sure if serial arduino boards are still on the market though.
