I've recently pulled out the display from a non-working Canon PIXMA iP6700D printer. The display is marked as ER0350A1NM6. I googled for it and found that this is controllerless LCD display, if I'm right. The display has a 20-pin connector. Now, is there any possibility to use this particular display with, for example, Arduino DUE, because I don't believe UNO or PRO MINI can handle this (or maybe it can, I don't know)?
/IF/ you had the full data sheet, you /could/ drive it with something like an Arduino DUO or a faster one.
Otherwise, get a display with documentation that is usable. Printer manufacturers are known for getting custom-made displays for their printeres, with absolutely no documentation available for the public.
