ds1302 time module code trouble

hello everyone,

I'm working on a project with the ds1302 time module. For this module i downloaded this basic code/library. When i adjust the pins and run this code i get a weird serial output.

This is my wiring and code. Someone had a blog post suggesting adding a 1k resistor to the data pin. Doing this changed nothing for me.

I hope someone is able to help me.
