There was a problem with the DS1302Z chips. When the battery is connected to the VCC1 pin, current consumption reaches 0.1-0.5 mA and the clock starts immediately. With the DS1302 chips in the DIP-package, there are no such problems. What could be the reason?

If the backup battery is being charged by the trickle charger via VCC2, then there may be a period of high current consumption until the backup battery is charged. You can turn off the trickle charger if you want.
