I have a question, if it return -196.00 means connection issue. What does 185 mean?
It hasn't had time to make a reading. The time required depends on the resolution. You sometimes see it when the programme starts. This is not really a problem. If you see it at other times, you are being unreasonable about the loop cycle time. Put a delay 1000 in it and it will go away. See data sheet about resolution
