DS18B20 vs MAX31820PAR

Anyone know the difference between these other than the MAX one is only 3.3 V tolerant. I assume they are programmed the same way with the Arduino ?

oops, wrong info

The interface is the same but the data is different.

I just purchased a handful of the DS18B20 for experiments.

Ok thanks, I have used the DS18B20 but saw that these were cheaper so was looking at them as an option. I have since found that I can get the DS18B20's cheaper at other vendors so may be a non-issue now.

As you can see, I edited my response. I was poking around the maxim integrated pages and thought I found exactly the info you were asking about.
But I was wrong and it was a comparison of 2 different DS18 models.
