Hello everyone,
I'm doing a solar tracker with two 24V motors, first one is a linear actuator and the second one is a slew drive, I expect both may require high current. Then I'm looking for a dual H-bridge motor driver that can tolerate high voltage (20 to 50V) and high current. Do you have any recommendations guys?
If none of them exists, I was thinking to connect two MD25HV Single H-bridge to my (single) arduino card, do you think it's possible?
Best regards

The datasheets would tell. Why just "expect"?

What is high current? Do you have a number?

There are BTS7960 Bridges available, they are rated at 43 Amps. I use them as LED drivers as well, they work great. They come with an attached heatsink. I purchased a dozen from China for maybe $6.00 last year including shipping.

They have 2 **Siemens BTS7960's** on the board. I am operating several with a 25A load and they stay cool. Here is a link to the part: [https://image.dfrobot.com/image/data/DRI0018/BTS7960.pdf](https://image.dfrobot.com/image/data/DRI0018/BTS7960.pdf) It is by defination a fully integrated high current half bridge for motor drive. It was originally out of Germany. It is part of the Novalith IC family containing three separate chips in one package: 1 control chip and a P and N MOSFETs.

Sorry for let reply, i don't really have the datasheet since i bought it in China. But the manufacturer says it's 10A.

But it seems like single H-bridge right? Can i combine it with another one to drive 2 motors with my arduino card?

10 Chinese Amps is often the same as 5 Metric, or Imperial, Amps. It might be very short time peak value.

One of those "43 amp" bridges are built around 25 amp thyristors...

Yes it's possible.
Why does it have to be a dual?

I just thought it would be more convenient for me with less space used and also doesn't need to buy twice the same equipments.

I didn't even know there was a difference between Ampers, thought it was universal unit😅

1 Amp should be the same everyware but...
There's a big difference between continous and intermitten current. The highest number looks the best, maybe.
One way to be greate, make greate products, is overspecifying them....
Chinese power supplies sometimes deliver either the voltage or the amps, but not both at the same time...

If space is 3 dimensional then 2 might take up less space than 1 if you stack them

I'm not sure the Ebay order is possible to find. Just the 43 Amp figures triggered my memory. It was a Youtube guy breaking into the device. I saw the video like a year ago.
Use a factor of 2 as safety margin for Chinese power drivers...
