I am new to the Due, although I have an Uno that is working fine.
I've searched as many sources (including this forum) and can't find instructions that tell exactly how to get this one going. Some instructions look like they are out-of-date as the choices are not the same as what I see in the IDE.
When the board is connected, two lights between the two USB ports light up. The one labeled "L" blinks.
However, Clicking "Get Board Info" returns an "unknown board" error in a modal box.
Also, the Due does not show up on the list of boards (Although the Duemilanove does -- are they the same?)
The main IC on the board says it is an Atmel ATSAM3X8E -- AU and that doesn't show up anywhere in what I see in the IDE.
Where can I find up to date information on how to resolve the issues and get this going?
Select Arduino Sam Boards( Cortex M3 ) in Boards Manager.
