When you set the Security Bit GPNVM0 on a Due, will it interfere with your ability to use the DueFlashStorage library? That is, I know it makes the EEPROM inaccessible externally, but does locking the Security bit prevent the processor itself from writing to EEPROM?
There is no EEPROM on a Sam3x, only Flash memory.
megascops: does locking the Security bit prevent the processor itself from writing to EEPROM?
What prevents you from trying ?
Yes, you are correct. I meant FlashMem, not EEPROM. Will the security bit prevent you from writing to FlashMem with the DueFlashStorage library?
I do not have a programmer with me currently, but would like to know if I could.
Answering my own question. The answer is "no", setting GPNVM0 does not prevent the sketch from writing to Flash memory.
Thanks for taking the time to share your findings meascops.
