DuPont leads - good ones

Does anyone know a supplier of good quality leads - the cheapy eBay ones can be very unreliable after a couple of uses ?

Urge you to make your own, you will never be sorry.

Use this 28AWG silicone insulated wire. (16 strands, I double it over)
OR
Use 26AWG silicone insulated wire. (30 strands).

The ELEGOO brand that I find on amazon is pretty good.
Haven't had any go bad, but once in a while there's one with a malformed pin or socket (got crunched in the crimper or something).

I buy most of my stuff from Adafruit so I don't have to worry about it being crappy, and if it is, they exchange it.

Thx for the tips , think I’ll junk mine and try some Adafruit ones !

( I’ve been buying the cheapo. EBay ones !)

I got a bunch from Adafruit and they never ever stopped smelling of something leftover from the manufacturing process.

I also don't like the kind that come as a ribbon cable, yes, very fussy, I don't like the stuff left on the wires when you do separate them.

The last (lifetime supply?) ones I got were from Pololu, who offer a variety of colors and lengths and gender endings, real wire single jumpers, no plastic fumes right out of the bag.

And +1 on the binder clip storage, nice idea I did get here, mebbe from @LarryD.

I'd make my own except I have less time left to spend on that…

I never noticed an odor, but they did come as a ribbon that I tore apart.
