DX160 LCD crashing - character overflow?

So I just got my DX160, and I'm having a bit of trouble. Using an Arduino.

After a certain amount of bytes sent - it seems to barf on me and wont write out any more characters. It happens about 3/4 of the way through (using the smaller type).

The docs say:

"Text strings are limited to 80 characters and must be terminated with ASCII[255]."

I'm terminating after each line (I think), by sending Serial.print(255, BYTE);

I figured that'd clear a buffer or do something magical. It is printing out more than 80 characters - so maybe I'm doing something right.

Anybody have any pointers?

Try sending it slower by sticking some delays in your code.
If that doesnt work then you have a problem.
