Dear arduino community,
In response to emergency MIT have been working on their own ventilator.
All their data are available on their site, link at the end of text.
Main problem is that two main elements are not for sale anymore.
- Motor with encoder (PG Series Gearboxes Gear ratio 188/1, insatalled encoder, shaft 3/8 Hex)
- motor controller. (RoboClaw Solo motor controller)
How simple we can make 30A H bridge PWM contorler?
Please share some links.
What motor we can use to meet desired specifications especiialy 2 week duty cycle of 100% and 1 milion cycles.

Toggle Switch – Mode selection from volume to assist control.
Momentary Button 1 – Used to temporarily silence alarms. This must be debounced.
Momentary Button 1 – Used to confirm a change to one of the POTs. This is a necessary safety feature. This must be debounced.
Limit Switch – Used for homing the arms positions.
LCD 20x4 or LCD 20x2
Audible alert buzzer will identify multiple fault conditions.
