Hello,

I am working with Eagle PCB and i am trying to layout the board. For the project, i have an LCD display pin-header and some rotary encoders. I want the rotary encoders to be a specific distance away from the pin-header of the lcd display header (so that the rotary encoders clear the screen). I have used the "dimension" tool on the board layout that draws out a dimension on the board to do it, but this seems kinda hokey and not precise. Is there a better way to do this?

Select Info, click on any object and set its position and/or dimensions in the dialog box.

You can also use the relative coordinates to measure how far away one thing is from another.

Then print your design on paper and see if the paper fits.
