I have been learning Eagle drawing. But what is your opinion about Easyeda? I have used both and find Easyeda easier to use. Is there some reason that this forum prefers Eagle over Easyeda?
Hi.
Eagle has been available for decades.
EasyEDA for exactly 3 years.
That's your answer.
Arduino is older than EasyEDA, they used a designtool that is free (even when limited), well known and wide spread.
That's Eagle.
As Eagle has recently been taken over by another company with way different goals as the previous owner, it remains to be seen how long it will be free, and/or available under the same conditions.
But we'll have to see.
There's no one keeping you from using your preferred software, as long as you come up with correct schematics.
It wouldn't be too smart to publish EasyEDA files, if no one can handle them.
In that case see if you can export them to eagle files or to some universal standard (does that exist ?).

A very clear cut answer. Thank you.
