Easiest Scheduler or Pseudo Operating System for newbie?

I just found schedulers and pseudo operating systems like ArduOS.

I'm newbie and planning simple home automation system.

Few buttons (state change) and couple of digital/analog temperature/humidity sensors.

For newbie it's hard to combine code and make all work same time.

Which one would be easiest to use for newbie?

Have a look at the demo Several Things at a Time.

And you may also get some ideas from Planning and Implementing a Program

But as the saying goes, that is what programming is all about.

I’d say Automaton, but I’m biased
