easy vr shield to arduino

sm trying to connect the easier shoaled to Arduino. Getting the red light on after soldering them together.

but am trying to test the easier using the easyvrtest file that comes by default as the example. it tells me

Bridge not requested, run normally

can any one please help?

am just putting the easyvrtest file into the Arduino and connected the soldered vrshield to the Arduino board and opened the serial monitor I get the above message
