Thank you for reading. I've designed a control panel with EasyEDA, holes for pots and a cutout for an OLED. In the EasyEDA the 2D and 3D images show the correct cutout for the OLED, however after uploading to JLCPcb the images on their website show no cutout for OLED, only holes for pots.
Sorry if I’m being dense, but how can a PCB show anything more than the outline of the cutout? Which both your images do. Or do you want that to be represented as say a black square?
Yes, you can make cutouts as seen in the image I posted above (the red control board). I've done it a few times, however for some reason when uploaded the design to jlcpcb the cutout area is not shown. After asking tech support they said it will be cut.
You can draw a square, rectangle or circle using the pink/purple board outline drawing tool. Or you can create a square/rectangle from the "pcb tools" menu, then right click the solid shape and choose " convert to board cutout".
Only the red pcb shows the outline of a cutout, the blue board only shows a top silk layer of a square shape the I drew around the cutout.
When viewing the board with cutout in easyeda software using the 2D or 3D viewer, you will see the background grid, as if it the are was really cut out of the pcb.
The red board is what appeared in the 3D view of easyEDA software, the blue image of the board is what appeared in the jlcpcb website after uploading the gerber file.
