Of course, the boiler is monitored by dual GM coolant sensors and has 2 30A relays for switching ON/OFF. Plus it has blow off valves in case the pressure goes high. I got this covered.
But the house has floors and the arduino will be located in the middle floor so I don't want to go downstairs or upstairs to set temperature etc.
The house doesn't have internet connection so I want to control it locally, with just my phone.. Later on I may include a GSM module for remote control.
So the TLG10UA03 from Aliexpress is typical wifi or is it more like the NRF24?
I am a software engineer myself, not having dealt much with Android but I can make an app if needed. I've seen however some apps like App Inventor that can make the creation of an app easy.
