Edit platform.txt to use GSL - GNU Scientific Library

Hi,

I tried to add the GSL - GNU Scientific Library. But i don't know how to edit the platform.txt, so that the compiler finds the library.
In Visual Code it took a while, but i figured out how to edit the .json data to access the library and compile. I tried the same with the platform.txt, but i does not work, and i don't know why.

Is there anybody out there who tried the same and suceeded?
or
Is there an other math library that is easier to use?
