I notice that in the new web editor, I can open multiple tabs. I would like to open a few sketches simultaneously so that I can cut and paste code between the tabs. Is this possible?
Hi @gdw971. Each Cloud Editor page is dedicated to development of a single sketch. All tabs are files that will be compiled into a single sketch program. It is intentionally designed this way in order to intuitively convey that concept to the user. Although it might seem obvious when working with sketches that consist of only a single .ino code file, sketches may consist of multiple code files. If multiple multi-file sketches were open in a single Cloud Editor page at the same time, it would be difficult to understand which of the tabs were going to become part of the compiled program.
If you want to work with multiple sketches simultaneously, you can open multiple Cloud Editor pages in your browser.
