EEPROM life

hi all,
one question, if i write to an eeprom 10,000 times but only to one location say address 100, then the entire eeprom will be dead? or only that mem location?

Neither. The number of write cycles that the EEPROM is guaranteed for is 100,000. The number of times that a memory location can be written to may be an order of magnitude higher than that.

Only that one location will be damaged when written to too often.
