EEPROMEx with fixed addresses ???

What I am trying to do is to give 25 integers in the arduino each an own address in the EEPROM.
so:

#include <EEPROMEx.h>

const int adress[25] = {0,2,4,6,etc};
int value1 = 0;
int value2 = 0;
etc

In the setup:
EEPROM.setMemPool (0, 50);
EEPROM.setMaxAllowedWrites(25);

The program changes the values and ends with

EEPROM.updateInt(adres[0], value1);
EEPROM.updateInt(adres[1], value2);
etc

When reopening in the setup appears:
value1 = EEPROM.readInt(adress[0]);
value2 = EEPROM.readInt(adress[1]);
etc.

But, helas, this doen’s do what it should do. Probably a huge beginners-mistake. But Which?
Any hints?

What does it do? You haven't posted a compilable code example for others to try.
