Electric Valve 3 Volt Help

-Hi , I want to make a watering system in my garden with moisture sensor , electric valve and iris or telosB wireless sensors motes to control the valve.

-I am in decision to buy the electric valve , the matter is that i want to control the flow of water to irrigate with a voltage 3 volts, because so (3volts) is the voltage of sensors iris/telosB that will be used.

-Could anyone suggest me an electric valve like this (for my situation) , is there anywhere such an electric valve to buy?

Thank you.

Hey guys any help plz..

Or if there isn't such a valve , may there is a voltage converter to use between iris and valve..any ideas.

There are numerous electronic watering timers and systems that could be hacked to allow control of the valves. Lots of these run on a couple of AA batteries or a 9V battery and could well be controlled from an Arduino with little more than a transistor.

Another option would be valves for sprinkler systems. These usually want 12V or 24V or something.

I suggest you google for "electronic watering timer" and "sprinkler valve" and have a look at what comes up.

Ok , but i want to control the valve with the iris wireless sensor mote which has voltage 3V, here is a wiki about wireless sensor motes Sensor node - Wikipedia .

And here is a pdf (2 pages) with iris mote http://www.memsic.com/support/documentation/wireless-sensor-networks/category/7-datasheets.html?download=135%3Airis. Please take a look and any help is usefull .

Thanks.

Also, look at http://gardenbot.org/

Thanks man , yes i had already see this site..thanks anyway..

Any more help is useful..
