electronic bass - arduino bt ?

hi

i'm building a musical instrument
kinda electronic percussive bass

i wish i use 2 piezzos (right hand percussion) and 3 position sensors (left hand melody)
sound treatment in max msp

would be 7 cables to the aduino (1 +5v, 1 ground, 2 piezzos and 3 control values)

if i use any external box for my arduino, i could use some DIN 8 cable to plug my instrument, and plug piezzos to my soundcard (getting jacks from DIN 8)

i also though about using arduino bluetooth

would be better for the scene he ! :sunglasses:

but ive never used one

so what about latency ?
safety ?
distance ?

i also wondering about connecting piezzos to the arduino using maxuino : it doesn't seem to work that much (weird values using duemilanove)
