Hi guys, I am having a project in my university to build a GPS/GSM tracking device with a temperature sensor. The device needs to be able to last long with just a simple battery life probably about 500mAh or 1200mAh (will be on standby mode most of the time).
The most important part is that it can withstand a heavy impact because the components are to be attached outside of a packaging box. Some deliveries doesn't handle it with care.
I imagined using a flexible board and pouring it into fiberglass. Does anyone have any experience or tips for me? What do I need to pay attention for? The board must survive at least 200 parcels.
Thank you in advance.

Please explain the end result when your project is all embedded in fiberglass.
Paul
After it is embedded in fiberglass, it is attached to the outside of the packaging box.
The reason why I want to use fiberglass because I think it can withstand the impact when the package is thrown or not handled with care.
