Hello everyone, first time poster here.
I want to create a system to lock and unlock a door using a keypad. That should be pretty simple, but here's the tricky part.
I want it to keep a log of times and dates when the door was opened, and I'd prefer to do it wireless. I would also like this contraption to have an 2x16 LCD screen to dispay current time and some other info.
What arduino model should I use, and can I accomplish the wireless part with a wifi shield, so that it logs all the information to a remote PC? I have an Arduino Duemilanove, can I use that ?
I have attached a drawing of my device, if my english just isn't good enough to understand what I want.
