Electronic Keypress Project

Hi!

I currently have a electronic keypress project on hand. The process would be:

• User has to authenticate himself/herself first
• User will then proceed to book out the keys (RFID-RC522 with Excel using Arduino (As a attendance system) - YouTube) The book out process is similar to the link.

I currently have:

• 1x Arduino Uno
• 1x MFRC522 RFID
• RFID Tags

So my question is that, is it possible to add another feature where there is a user interface for the user to authenticate himself/herself before the excel sheet opens? And is possible, how do i go about doing that? I will be using a standalone computer as an interface.
