Electronically controlled AC switch

Hi,

I'm trying to find an electronically controlled AC (120v) switch. I'd like to be able to switch on/off the mains AC with an arduino. I've been googling for a pre-built switch but haven't been able to find anything (other than hand-made solutions). Is my google-fu failing me?

You can also build your own isolated solution using an SSR (solid state relay).

There is not much you have to do yourself with one of these... (apart from working safely with mains voltage)

Thank you for the info! I'm very new to electronics and thought it would be safer to buy something prebuilt. Even if I didn't electrocute myself I'd worry that anything I put into the wall might be 100% safe.
