ELEGOO - PC doesn't recognize the Arduino (Elegoo Uno R3 clone)

My PC does't recogize my Arduino, when I connect it to the PC it says that it's an unknown device. Firsty when I connected it doesn't happened anything then I installed CH34x usb chip drivers because I heard that some chinese clones uses that, but it took me to this situation. There is only the green led on (it's just on, not blinking) but the red one on the 13th pin is not blinking.

What does your Device Manager say?

Which OS?

My device manager tells that it's an unknown device and that it's failed to request device's description. I have windows 10 fall creators update

Ugh Windows 10.

I don't have Windows 10 1709 - mine is 1607 - , so I have no clue what it is doing when it comes to Arduino and drivers.

Include a picture of YOUR board near the USB chip (NOT A PICTURE FROM THE WEB)

Lets first off be sure of what you have ?

In Win 10...

  1. Dont use USB 3.0 ports.

  2. Dont use USB 3.0 cables.

  3. ANy extra drivers should be installed as ADMINISTRATOR or with Driver Enforcement turned OFF.

  4. Dont use UNPOWERED USB hubs.

  5. What is the windows error code for the device ?
