EM-18 Does Not Read Card

Hello everyone,
I am studying in field of RFID now. But i have a problem. I am using EM-18 module as rf id module. I connected pins in this way; VCC to 3.3 V, SEL to 5V, GND to GND, TX to RX. I cant see any output in serial monitor. You can see my Arduino Stech and connection schema is below. Why am i having such a problem?

VCC to 3.3 V, SEL to 5V

Oops. Hopefully, the module survived.

Why? Is it wrong?

Did you not realize that the module runs on 5V?

It is always a good idea to study and double check the data sheet before wiring and applying power.

I connect to VCC to 5V but again it doesn’t work. Help me please.

You may have destroyed the module by wiring it incorrectly in the first place.
