EMG Sensor Floating Output

Hi, I am new to Arduino and working with the Duino Peak ECG/EMG Sensor Shield. When I try to load data from the sensor, I use the following code but got floating output. what am i doing wrong?

void setup() {
  Serial.begin(9600);
}

void loop() {
  int val = analogRead(A0);
  float voltage = val * (5.0 / 1023.0);
  Serial.println(voltage);
}

Floating input, most likely. Please post a wiring diagram and photo of your setup.

Use your multimeter to check all connections for continuity. This is not appropriate for (Arduino) Installation and Troubleshooting, so I asked the moderator to move it.

The Sensor Shield is stacked on top of the Arduino.
I have tried with individual connections, all the connections are okay. still same result.

Post a link to the shield and the documentation.

You have a floating input. So: is the sensor output supposed to be read by analog input A0, as done in your program?

There was no documentation provided with the Shield Sensor and there is none online for the same brand. I am from a third world country and I bought the sensor off Alibaba from this link which has some details.

Yes, the sensor is supposed to be read by analog input A0.

That is part of the problem. Repair it or send it back.

Looks like a clone of this board which DOES have documentation:
