EMG Sensor Question

Hi everyone,

I'm going to purchase some EMG sensors. I would like to program 5 DC motors in to activate based on the muscle contraction detected by the sensors.

Would I need an amplifier for the sensor? If I connect my power source to the Arduino, it powers the sensor right? Also, is the programming for this possible?
