Enclosure and protoshield questions

If you don't have lead clippings from parts, or you need to get one part to another, you can buy what is known as "pre-tinned bus wire", which is meant to make such bridges; basically a "wire-based" trace.

Another option are boards from this guy:

"measureexplorer" is his Ebay handle. Basically, he sells a variety of prototyping boards in different configurations; the above board has interconnects between all the pads; if you don't want pads connected, you scrape away the interconnect (or drill out the hole like you would with stripboard).

I'm not sure if he offers an Arduino prototyping shield or not, but he does have a variety of other interesting prototyping products. I've never ordered from him, though - so I don't know what his products or service is really like. His feedback rating seems "ok" (not perfect, though).
