Hey guys,
So i have a built an open loop control system for my 6 inch Dobsonion telescope using Arduino ,Stepper motors and Worm gears. The mount is also built by me. In this system i enter the RA and Dec value and my telescope moves towards the desired position.
NOW
I would like to make it closed loop and would like to interface it with Stellarium.
During my research i got know that we require encoders for feedback and also use LX200 Command system.
So it would be really awesome if y'all could suggest me which encoders can i use? . what factors should i look at? .
how can i interface it with stellarium ?
