Encrypt massage and broadcast mode in esp now at same time

Hello my friends I want to know if it is possiable to use esp now in broadcast mode and encrypt massage at same time? I mean I saw that if we encrypt massage there is a limitation in the maximum number of our nodes .but there is another quote that said there isn't any limitation. Can any one help me to determine this !
