Nice PCB...the part choices give an appearance I don't usually see. Almost like something from Lego.
Similar in concept to the Shifty VU Shield: shifty_vu_shield [macetech documentation]
However, mine doesn't have external adjustments beyond input attenuation. I have it set to a relatively fast decay and then users can do software filtering to get a slower response.

i always loved lego
the decay won't prevent filtering, but it's very handy for basic reaction adjustments.
