EPQ Help!

Hello

I want to build this robot (http://diyhacking.com/make-line-follower-10-minutes/#comment-1549) for my EPQ at college but the only problem is I don't want to be spending too much money. Basically in this diagram and project the guy uses continuous servos which are almost double to price of the other components so is there anyway I can use DC motors instead of Servos?

Thanks,

Ben

is there anyway I can use DC motors instead of Servos?

Sure.
Simply replace the servos with a DC motor and drive them from a H-bridge, then modify the software to drive the H-bridge and not the servo.

Saving money requires knowledge and effort.

Ok so which H Bridge do you recommend buying?

The IC SN754410 is a dual H-Bridge that I have used successfully in the past.

Hello can you give me a link to where I can buy them and how to wire them up?

Thanks again,

Ben

What good is that I don't know where you live?
Google the part number for a local supplier.

and how to wire them up

See the data sheet of the chip.
