error: 'Alarm' was not declared in this scope

Hello, I have read similar threads on this issue but unfortunately non of the suggested solutions has work for me.

The path for the arduino libraries is: /home/apereida/sketchbook/libraries
inside the last folder there are two folders named Time nd TimeAlarms each one containing their respctive
.h and .cpp files.

I made a very simple program just to make sure it will compile the Time and TimeAlarms
libraries fine:

#include <Time.h>
#include <TimeAlarms.h>
//
void setup(){

}
//
void loop(){

Alarm.timerRepeat(600, CW_ID);

}

and get always the message: error: ‘Alarm’ was not declared in this scope

what’s missing?

Thanks in advance

what's missing?

You have not created this function: CW_ID

See: http://www.pjrc.com/teensy/td_libs_TimeAlarms.html

The CW_ID function is at the end, forgot to include it in the thread, the CW_ID is empty just created.

CW_ID(){

}

Try:

#include <Time.h>
#include <TimeAlarms.h>
//
void setup(){

}
//
void loop(){

  Alarm.timerRepeat(600, CW_ID);

}

void CW_ID()
{
}

It is compiling fine now, many thanks! I'm making an Amateur radio repeater controller.
