Error burning bootloader

Hi everyone

I found a solution to burning a bootloader on Atmega32, I made all the steps and when I was trying to burn the bootloader arduino IDE gave this error:

avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x15

Could someone tell me what does that mean?

Were there any other messages to go with it? Typically that might indicate the chip is not responding, responding with the wrong message, or the programmer is not responding. Do you get the same message if you try programming with the chip disconnected?

There are no other messages.

Do you get the same message if you try programming with the chip disconnected?

Do you mean just the arduino I´m using as a programmer?

I think you need to describe exactly what you're doing - what Arduino you're trying to program, what you're trying to use to program it, if that's an "Arduino as ISP" then what Arduino is the ISP, how is the target connected to the programmer (including details of the mod/circuit used to inhibit reset in the Arduino as ISP case), what board type is selected in the IDE and what are you doing in the IDE to initiate the download?

I´m using an Arduino Duemilanove to programm my ATMEGA32, the circuit I´m using the one on the site:

The rest I found here:
