Error Code

Hello,

This is an error that I have just gotten when plugging in a shield that has had no problem in the past! Any assistance?

That looks like an issue with the com port and not the arduino code. Are you sure you have the correct port chosen? Is this a linux system? If so are you sure the permissions for that port are set right?

So I just re-checked for the 100th time that I had the right port selected. This time Nothing was selected and it uploaded once I chose the correct port.

Any idea why sometimes the port isnt in the menu?

It all depends on the OS and the port and the way things are set up.
