Error communicating with the language server: Error: write EOF

Hi @dinuka_83. Which version of Arduino IDE are you using (e.g., "2.0.1")? The version is shown on the window title bar and also in the dialog that opens when you select Help > About (or Arduino IDE > About Arduino IDE for macOS users) from the Arduino IDE menus.

Arduino IDE 2.3.2
Version: 2.3.2
Date: 2024-02-20T10:04:35.814Z
CLI Version: 0.35.3

Thanks for the clarification. This is unexpected because the bug that affected other users was fixed starting from the Arduino 2.2.0 release, so it is not expected that you will experience it with Arduino IDE 2.3.2. I just gave it a try and didn't experience any problems even with a sketch that was saved on a different drive than the build folder.

Please provide detailed step-by-step instructions I can follow to reproduce the fault and I'll investigate further.

Found it again in 2.3.2, no hover tips.
Solved after I typed & ".\Arduino IDE" in powershell.
