error compiling for board Nano Arduino

When compiling this sketch I get the mentioned error. The LCD3Wire.h library is installed. Any help is appreciated.
This is the error message: C:\Users\Thomas\Documents\Arduino\libraries\LCD3Wire/LCD3Wire.h:12:16: error: conflicting return type specified for ‘virtual void LCD3Wire::write(uint8_t)’ virtual void write(uint8_t); ^

#include <LCD3Wire.h>

// Example 24.3

#include <LiquidCrystal.h> // we need this library for the LCD commands
LCD3Wire lcd = LCD3Wire(2, 11, 12, 10); //create object to control an LCD.

void setup()
{
  lcd.init();
}

void loop()
{
  lcd.println("LCD3Wire library"); // displays text on the LCD
  lcd.cursorTo(2,0);  // rows are 1... and columns are 0...
  lcd.println("-tronixstuff.com");

  delay(1000);
  lcd.leftScroll(16,500);
  // scrolls the entire display 16 chars to left, 100ms per character-shift
  delay(1000);
  lcd.clear(); // clears the display
}

Did you the error message?

When the posted sketch is compiled the resulting error occurs:

Arduino\libraries\NewLiquidCrystal-master\I2CIO.cpp:35:26: fatal error: …/Wire/Wire.h: No such file or directory

#include <…/Wire/Wire.h>

The Wire/wire.h is not included in the NewLiquidCrystal-master\I2CIO directory, nor is it in the #include. Any help is appreciated.

Any help is appreciated.

Fix the include statement:

#include <Wire.h>
