"Mesh levelling"? Sounds cool but if you have to use that then I suspect that there's something mechanically wrong with your printer. 4-point levelling is more than you need if the bed is not awfully warped and the guides aren't bent. If the guides are loose instead of bent then no amount of levelling will help.
