error in code

Hi all, I have in the past been able to run code for hmc5883l compass but when I have tried to run it today it is coming up with ‘stray’’ in prigram. I am new to programming and can not understand what I have done.

A link to the library that you are using would be useful. Without that, it's impossible to reproduce (or not) your problem.

So what changed between yesterday and today?....something must have, if it was working before.

The IDE can't find the library, there is a weird bug in the IDE. 2 weeks ago, all my sketchs were gone. I had the folders of my sketchs, but the codes were all gone. Luckily I had a backup for most of them, but all my new sketchs were not not backup so I lost those. And just the other day, I was messing around with my LCD for about an hour and next, for some reason I was getting errors. My LCD library was not being seen by the IDE. I had to re-download it and so far, no errors. Now when ever I make a new code, I make sure it is backed up. -_-

Its just a weird glitch or bug.
I have 1.0.4.
