Error in compiling

I copied this sketch from here http://playground.arduino.cc/Main/LedControlDemos But it will not compile for me.

After doing that you will have the complete example sketch open and the library it requires installed and it will compile.

You missed the first 25 lines of code from that page. But don’t worry about that, just follow the instructions I provided in my last comment and all will be well.
