Error in init with cardInfo exemple on SD Card Shield v4.0b of seedStudio

Hi,

I’ve got an Arduino Uno and i would like to read a SD Card. So, i get a SD card shield v4.0b from seedStudio.

I wired shield and my arduino as it explain on http://www.seeedstudio.com/wiki/SD_Card_shield_V4.0. I put a photo on this post.

I use CardInfo exemple provides in Arduino IDE.

It seems to be very easy … but it doesn’t work :frowning:

I have the message below :
initialization failed. Things to check:
is a card is inserted?
Is your wiring correct?
did you change the chipSelect pin to match your shield or module?

The SD Card is a 16GB in FAT32. I can read the card with my Windows. I tried with a 8GB SD Card, i’ve got the same result.

The constante chipSelect is set to 4, as explained on the seedStudio’s wiki.

I haven’t got more ideas.

Has anyone got an idea ?

It becames solved after soldering pins.
