Error in WIRE liberary

I was programming for a device that needs RTC DS1307, I included the Wire lib and I get an error message.
I could not find the reason so I started a new sketch and only included that lib. here are both
Code:
#include <Wire.h>

void setup() {
// put your setup code here, to run once:

}

void loop() {
// put your main code here, to run repeatedly:

}

The error:

Library can’t use both ‘src’ and ‘utility’ folders. Double check E:\Arduino\hardware\arduino\avr\libraries\Wire
Using library Wire at version 1.0 in folder: E:\Arduino\hardware\arduino\avr\libraries\Wire

Error compiling for board Arduino/Genuino Uno.

Try this:

  • Tools > Board > Boards Manager
  • Wait for downloads to finish.
  • Click on "Arduino AVR Boards".
  • Click "Update".
  • Wait for update to finish.
  • Click "Close".
  • Try compiling your sketch again.

I have no clue why this error occurs. It should only happen if the library has the src and utility folders directly under the Wire folder, which this library does not have. Many thousands of people are using the same library without any problems. The problem used to happen more frequently but we never found the cause. The update in my instructions above will cause the same library to be installed to a different location on your computer and my hopes is that will by chance cause the problem to go away.

Thanks very much indeed.... That solved the problem Best regards
