I am trying to use an ir library receiving demo that I found online and it looks goo but i keep getting this error message: Arduino: 1.6.7 (Mac OS X), Board: “Arduino/Genuino Uno”
/Users/hudsonchromy/Downloads/Arduino.app/Contents/Java/libraries/RobotIRremote/src/IRremoteTools.cpp:5:16: error: ‘TKD2’ was not declared in this scope
int RECV_PIN = TKD2; // the pin the IR receiver is connected to
^
exit status 1
Error compiling.
and the code I am using is:
/*
* IRremote: IRrecvDemo - demonstrates receiving IR codes with IRrecv
* An IR detector/demodulator must be connected to the input RECV_PIN.
* Version 0.1 July, 2009
* Copyright 2009 Ken Shirriff

*/
#include <IRremote.h>
int RECV_PIN = 6;
IRrecv irrecv(RECV_PIN);
decode_results results;
void setup()
{
Serial.begin(9600);
irrecv.enableIRIn(); // Start the receiver
}
void loop() {
if (irrecv.decode(&results)) {
Serial.println(results.value, HEX);
irrecv.resume(); // Receive the next value
}
delay(100);
}
I would love any advice you can offer!
